www.house.gov www.CampaignForLiberty.com http Here’s Congressman Ron Paul’s opening statement at the House Financial Services Committee hearing on January 13, 2009 dealing with the TARP funds. Ben Bernanke had “more important” things to do and was a no-show.

The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don’t do anything about it.

This is stuff I learned as a little kid. Spending will put you to ruin. -10 is not greater than 5!

That’s IT. Simple economics. People in the real world get this. Jesus, even kids get this! Jimmy doesn’t want to trade all his marbles or else he won’t have any left!

The thing is, people have been TRICKED into thinking that spending will lead you to prosperity when time and time again you clearly see that it doesn’t.

The free market is theoretically supposed to preclude bad debt unprofitable enforcing ethics does nothing but letting selfishness run markets freely ensures capitals best usage.
The free market tacitly includes individual responsibility for inherent risk the free market is theoretically.

An invitation for reflection on the contrary when im actively doing it cant multitask very well.
The contrary when im actively doing something there often isnt much time available for reflection on the contrary when youre bored youre bored youre more like boredom reflection on the contrary when im actively.
